M&A and origination

M&A and origination of solar and battery projects in Spain.

I help buyers find and close solar, battery storage and hybrid projects in Spain, and I help developers sell theirs. Ready-to-build or operating, from the first screening to signing. I have sat on both sides of the table: I co-founded Cable Energía, bought by Shell and later by Acciona, and I chair Capflex Energía, which develops and sells battery storage projects in Spain (500 MW).

For buyers

Origination

Projects that match your size, technology, stage and regions, including opportunities that never reach a public process.

Screening

Grid access and posted guarantees, permits, hybridisation route and the revenue case a lender will bank, before you spend on due diligence.

To signing

Offer, negotiation and conditions precedent, with the developer, the EPC contractor and the lenders at the table.

For developers selling

Ready to sell

The grid, permits and land file a buyer’s due diligence will ask for, in order before the first call.

The right buyer

Utilities, independent power producers and infrastructure funds from Spain, the rest of Europe and the UK.

The process

From teaser and non-binding offers to signing, keeping several buyers in play.

What we cover

How it works

Every mandate is written and scoped: a monthly retainer plus a success fee, agreed case by case. Conflicts are declared upfront: I chair Capflex Energía, and any Capflex project is presented as such.
